Some time I waited for the promise of some kind of resolution of who I was or who I am to be.

Now I see, I have no beginning & I have no end. I just, am.

That was when I fell in love, and could just be.

Black Cat Bridal

Bridal elegance meets raw organic beauty in this Black Cat Editorial. A natural canvas full of texture makes these Black Cat pieces feel right at home, catching light and popping in front of a striking moss-green haven. A simple second set, featuring only a white slip at the water's edge, proves the power just one accessory can have when it comes to elevating a look. The goosebumps also have my heart.

By the end of this shoot, I may or may not have purchased the featured necklace for my own collection...

Blood Running Album Art

The powerhouse behind Minneapolis band Elour is Elizabeth Ghandour. Self-described as "punk-edged femme rock," Elour's Blood Running album called for impactful imagery matched to this energy.

I created these concepts for Elizabeth after conversations centered around her own artistic message, and listening to song samples. This imagery compliments Elizabeth's music in exploring both the power and struggle of the feminine experience.

Nostalgic Romance Wedding Editorial at Bavaria Downs

It was a dream to photograph this editorial at Bavaria Downs, a gem to be found in Chaska, MN. Undoubtedly one of my favorite local venues, Bavaria Downs hosts the Edward Anne Estate, as pictured here, alongside Equestria West. The Edward Anne Estate carries French countryside influence and is situated on 200 acres of expansive, rolling hillside. If you'd wish for a destination wedding in Europe but still want that big bash with all your family and friends, Bavaria Downs is the escape you're looking for.

Inspired by the old-world charm of Bavaria Downs, Hannah & Jered were the featured lovers in this romantic tale. Hannah's bridal look was styled with a feminine floral makeup look, complimented by a long, effortlessly lived-in braid. The lace and tulle of this BHLDN gown was a wonderfully delicate piece and with 3/4 sleeves, added to the nostalgia.
