The experience

The science of human beings.
Your essence is alluring. Irreplaceable. Curious.
Before photography consumed me, freshly 18, I went off to college to study Anthropology in the city.
I didn’t become an anthropologist (or maybe I did, in my own sorta way) - but I left as a college dropout with one major takeaway.
Art & science both seek to explore & understand the human experience.
My work has sought to bind these intersections together, and understand this question; how can your essence be reliably seen, and art be predictably made?
“What a talent you are. You captured the magical moments I felt but couldn’t see.”

You feel like a masterpiece. I’m curious. Art is human emotion transcending an experience, and art is omnipresent. It is possible to create a process in which the art of life can be consistently harnessed and translated to a visual body of spiritual work. Photography, by nature, combines the diligence & discipline of science, the creativity & spirit of art, and the present reality of our existence. This is my ideal intersection to live and create in.

“When you work with her, you are getting more than just great photos. You’re getting an experience. She devotes her attention to you and doesn’t miss a detail. In the handful of times I’ve worked with her, Karrah has truly captured some of the most special moments of my life. When my partner & I received the images back from our couple’s session, I bawled my eyes out! I truly felt the story of our love and romance unfolding before my eyes. These are more than just photos and you won’t know that feeling of forever-gratefulness until you are looking through your delivered gallery, or better yet, holding the prints in your hands. I trust Karrah’s artistry.”
