FAQ

  • This is me knowing myself, understanding my process, and how I achieve results. I’m here to do the job, to the best of my ability, and for you to get me at 110%. My creativity and energy doesn’t just turn off when the clock strikes 8pm.

I’m ready for those who wanna go all in, together.

  • Yes! I’ve always traveled for work & thrive in the fresh inspiration of new places and experiences.

For any destination within the continental US, my travel collections have a flat $1500 travel rate. There are no hidden or unexpected costs. I take care of all my own travel needs.

International destinations will be given a custom travel rate upon inquiring - one single flat fee, with no hidden or unexpected costs.

Destinations falling outside of my local range, but under 6 hours from St. Croix Falls, are also met with a custom travel rate.

  • No. I aim to deliver just the right amount of storytelling, plus wiggle room for you to have your personal preferences on what you like best - but not an overwhelming pile of thousands of photos disappearing into a forgotten pile of digital clutter. My worst nightmare is that you get bored looking through your gallery. My wedding collections guarantee 500 images, or 700 with a second photographer.

  • Most people are not having photoshoots done regularly! It’s likely a new experience, and I get that 100%. I’ve been on both sides of the camera, and I have several tricks ready for helping you out. Your comfort is important to me - that’s a huge part in why I take so much care in getting to know you. Building our relationship from the beginning will help! I will earn your trust.

In regards to posing, it isn’t a necessary part of my process. I incorporate a lot of movement, and I use “prompts” as necessary, to help keep things flowing. Prompts could be things like “Tuck your hair behind your ear” “Place your hand on your partners back” “Make your way over to the window” etc, and as you work through the prompt that often opens up a space for your uniqeness to come through, while receiving my artistic guidance and resting on the backbone of the trust we’ve built - those are the moments that end up in your gallery.

  • No! For wedding collections, I encourage one if ya can, but I am 100% confident on my own as well. My second photographer delivers polaroids for your guests to take home, and adds more images from another perspective - think, fun drone coverage. It may be additionally useful to add a second photographer if you and your partner are getting ready in separate locations, to include coverage of you both. A second photographer is also great to help get detailed coverage of both guest candids and reception decor post-ceremony.

Booking a second photographer guarantees an additional 200 images in your gallery.

  • My expected delivery time is 12 weeks post-wedding and 10 weeks post-portrait session. To help quench the excitement (it’s totally understandable) while I work through my process, I have add-on’s available such as the social shooter. Social shooter images & content are available in real-time with the full social gallery available in 2-7 days.

Your completed, secured gallery will be provided online, where you will view & download your full resolution files. Your gallery will allow you, or anyone you give access, to easily shop my curated prints / products, or you can totally print on your own (your gallery includes a print release). Getting these photos off your phone is a huge value of mine. For this reason, alongside your digital gallery all of my wedding collections include a print box to get you started. Print boxes also include a USB drive to hold a backup copy of your digital files and will be mailed after your digital gallery is delivered. All collections, wedding & portrait, include polaroids.

  • Yes absolutely. Just ask, and let me know what you are looking to see.

  • I decide if an image is more successful in color or black & white when I edit and do not include multiple versions of the same exact photo. I aim to keep your gallery more of an experience and having several options of the same photo detracts from that. If I give you a photo in BW that you want in color, or color to BW, I can adjust it alongside additional editing fees for any requested changes to your gallery as outlined in your contract.

  • Yes, you totally can - I provide a print release with all collections and the digital files are yours to do with as you please. Lower cost print options (Shutterfly, Walgreens, etc etc) will be NOTICEABLY different in quality, clarity, color, feel… all of my collections also include direct access to a curated professional print shop & it would be my recommendation to take advantage and experience your collection with full integrity. My goal in my client shops is only to provide you access to quality - labs & products that are typically unavailable to the average consumer - and not intended as an upcharge.
